Why am I calling this 40+?
Mostly because I'm in my forties and I've been HIV positive for twenty one years. Man just writing about it makes me thankful and in awe that I've made it so long. I was diagnosed when I was nineteen years old. Fresh out of high school and in my early days of college.
When I found out, you name and emotion and I went through it. Even laughter, because it must have been a mistake and it couldn't have been me. But it was and over the years it has been a journey I wouldn't trade.
Join me on the journey and let's talk about what keeps you going. There seems to be little talk among long surviving HIV infected individuals and I hope you enjoy and share!

Stay Positive!!
